Train in therapeutic-grade healing for tokophobia, perinatal anxiety, OCD, and Reproductive Anxiety Disorder

An 8-month Fearless Birthing Professional credential for therapists, counsellors, pregnancy and birth coaches, and perinatal mental health professionals delivering structured multi-session work.

This isn't reactive fear clearance in the flow of birth-work practice – that's the Fearless Birthing Practitioner credential. This is the deeper version of the work. You'll design programmes that unfold across months. Map what's going on underneath. Sequence the work. Hold the long arc.

You'll be trained to apply the Head Trash Clearance method to the full landscape of perinatal fear and anxiety – with the RAD framework as your clinical lens, the Birth Readiness Blueprint as your assessment tool, and the depth-work skills to deliver multi-session programmes with clients carrying compounded fear, anxiety, OCD, or complex emotional history.

If any of that lands, you're in the right place.

The Clinical Gap

The clinical gap in perinatal anxiety, tokophobia, and RAD work

Up to 35% of women experience tokophobia (severe fear of pregnancy and childbirth). Add the broader landscape of perinatal anxiety, fertility-related anxiety, OCD presentations around motherhood, postnatal mental health complexity, perimenopausal re-emergence of fear, and the prevalence becomes significant across most professional caseloads working with women.

And yet most therapy and coaching training programmes don't include perinatal-specific fear and anxiety work. The clinical literature treats tokophobia as under-researched. Reproductive Anxiety Disorder (RAD) – the framework that names the lifespan-wide pattern of fear and perinatal anxiety – wasn't part of any training programme until this one.

That's the gap this credential fills.

The Head Trash Clearance method is a therapeutic-grade fear-clearance methodology developed over 16+ years. It has three operations: Clearance (the base technique), Absolute Healing (wound-level work, Level 3), and the Ladder of Growth (measurement framework). FB Professional trains you in clearance applied at depth across multi-session programmes.

The RAD framework provides the clinical scaffolding currently missing from mainstream therapy training. The Birth Readiness Blueprint is the assessment tool that translates RAD awareness into structured client work.

In eight months, you'll be certified to deliver this work at depth.

After Certification

What you'll be able to deliver as a certified FB Professional

This is depth work. Structured, assessment-led, multi-session – the kind of practice you build a specialism around.

The Method

What is the Fearless Birthing method?

The Fearless Birthing method is powered by Head Trash Clearance (HTC) – the fear-clearance methodology Alexia developed to clear her own tokophobia during her second trimester.

HTC is a complete methodology with three operations:

The method itself is:

Practitioners frequently describe HTC as "the missing piece" their existing modality couldn't reach. Therapists, counsellors, and coaches working with women carrying perinatal anxiety, OCD presentations, or RAD patterns find that HTC clears what cognitive and even somatic interventions can leave intact.

You'll learn the full method in Level 1 (using it on yourself), then refine it for depth client work in Level 2 Advanced.

What changes most about how you work

There's a structural feature of HTC that practitioners notice within weeks of training: the work flow reverses.

In most therapeutic or coaching work, you spend sessions waiting for the real material to surface. You sense there's more underneath your client's stated issue. You can't get to it directly. You wait, you ask, you push gently. You go around in circles. That's the part that wears you out – the dragging.

HTC reverses that. The material comes up quickly – at the start of the work, not buried under weeks of careful excavation. Once it's there, your training does what it's good at: your reading, your clinical judgement, your relational fluency, your strategic frame.

You stop dragging. You start working.

That single change – material reliably arriving rather than having to be excavated – is what makes FB Professionals describe their sessions as leaving them lighter, not drained.

The Training

Your 8-month training journey

This credential is structured as two sequential phases.

Months 1–2: HT L1 Group – Personal Foundation

The work you do on yourself first.

You apply the Head Trash Clearance method to your own emotional material – your own fears, anxieties, and patterns. Bi-weekly live training calls with Alexia. This isn't optional self-help. It's professional foundation work.

Why this matters for therapists, counsellors, and coaches specifically: Working with reproductive fear, perinatal anxiety, and tokophobia surfaces practitioner material. Your own reproductive history, fertility journey, birth experiences, hormonal transitions, and intergenerational pattern shape how you hold this work. Level 1 surfaces and clears what you're carrying – before you do this work at depth with clients.

You'll also learn what it feels like to shift stuff. When you tell a client "yes, this works; yes, your fear can clear; yes, it can happen this fast," you're saying it from firsthand experience. Not repeating someone else's claim. You can describe what you noticed before, what you noticed after, what the shift felt like. That's the kind of integrity-proof that lands with clients in a way nothing else does.

Required to progress to Level 2 Advanced: 20 clearances completed during the two months. This is the threshold of fluency required before moving into the practitioner-skills training of Level 2.

You emerge from Level 1 with:

  • Working fluency in the HTC clearance technique
  • Your own carried material substantially cleared as a side effect
  • Lived, embodied authority on what shifting actually feels like
  • Eligibility to progress to Level 2 Advanced

Months 3–8: Level 2 Advanced – Practitioner Certification

The depth work. Long-term programmes with clients.

Six months of bi-weekly 2-hour live training calls with Alexia. This is where the specialist Professional skills are built:

  • Long-term client work structure – multi-session programme design, pacing across months, holding the work, treatment planning
  • The RAD framework as a clinical lens – using the framework to recognise, assess, and structure work across the perinatal lifespan
  • Birth Readiness Blueprint training – administration, interpretation, integration into therapeutic-grade work, baseline and outcome measurement
  • Perinatal-specific applications – tokophobia, perinatal anxiety, OCD presentations, generalised anxiety, fertility anxiety, postpartum complexity, perimenopause
  • Depth work with compounded presentations – tokophobia alongside generalised anxiety, OCD, or long-standing emotional patterns
  • Buddy practice clearances with cohort members alongside theory – you'll do MORE clearances during Level 2 by practising on each other. By the time you complete the cert, you'll have 40–50 clearances under your belt. That depth of practice is what makes the credential meaningful.
  • Case studies and certification assessment

Why this credential and not the FB Practitioner cert?

Two parallel credentials for two different ways of working. Equal weight – not junior/senior.

For: Therapists, Counsellors, Pregnancy & Birth Coaches, Therapeutic Coaches, Perinatal MH Professionals

Fearless Birthing Professional

£4,995 PIF – 8 months total (HT L1 Group + L2 Advanced)

What you do: Programmatic clearance – design and deliver structured multi-session healing and coaching programmes

  • Tokophobia, RAD, perinatal anxiety, OCD, generalised anxiety – multi-session work across months
  • HTC method + RAD framework + Birth Readiness Blueprint Training + Blueprint Bundle (£1,477 included value)
  • FB Professional credential
Best if you're delivering structured multi-session programmes around fear clearance, perinatal anxiety, or RAD work – whether you're a therapist, a counsellor, a pregnancy coach, a birth coach, or another professional delivering therapeutic-grade work at depth.
For: Doulas, Midwives, Hypnobirthing Practitioners, Antenatal Educators, Childbirth Educators

Fearless Birthing Practitioner

£2,497 PIF – 4 months total

What you do: Reactive clearance – fear clearance in the moment, in the flow of birth-work practice

  • Specific fear clearance with clients across the perinatal journey (TTC, antenatal, birth prep)
  • Birth preparation Plan A/B/C work and digital product creation
  • FB Practitioner credential
Best if you're a birth worker integrating fear clearance into existing antenatal sessions, birth-prep classes, or live birth support – not designing multi-session healing programmes.

These aren't two tiers of the same thing. Reactive clearance and programmatic clearance are two different professional skills for two different working contexts. Choose by what you actually do with clients – not which credential sounds more impressive.

If you're running structured weekly or bi-weekly sessions across 8+ weeks with clients who carry anxiety, OCD, or compounded emotional history alongside their reproductive fear – you want this credential.

If you're integrating fear clearance into hours-long antenatal sessions, birth-prep packages, or live birth support – you want FB Practitioner.

Assessment Tool

Your structured assessment tool

The Blueprint is the perinatal-specific assessment tool Alexia developed to translate RAD awareness into structured client work. In this credential, you're trained to deliver it.

What the Blueprint does

How FB Professionals use it

Start of engagement

Baseline assessment + healing direction for the work that follows

Throughout

Session planning informed by the Blueprint output – which themes to address, in what sequence

End of engagement

Outcome measurement – what's shifted, what's resolved, what remains

Integration

The Blueprint informs your work, it doesn't replace your modality – it tells you WHAT to work on, your existing skills tell you HOW

What's included in your £4,995

£1,477 of Blueprint value

Baked into your credential. You don't pay extra. You don't add it on. From the day you complete Level 2 Advanced, you have Blueprint capability and a starter bundle ready to use.

The integrity-proof point: This is the same tool Alexia uses in her own 1:1 work. What you'll be trained to deliver is what's practised in the field.

What happens to your existing toolkit (honestly)

For some practitioners – particularly results-led ones – HTC ends up becoming the primary method.

Leah King is HTC's Therapeutic Lead. She trained as a clinical social worker in the US (significant investment in licensed therapy training) and now uses HTC almost exclusively because it produces what her therapy training was reaching for, faster. Alexia herself stopped actively using NLP and Thought Field Therapy when she found HTC produced what those modalities were aiming at, faster.

For other practitioners, HTC slots in alongside existing modalities and the toolkit broadens rather than narrows.

Either way: your existing training never goes to waste. The attachment theory, the developmental psychology, the trauma frameworks, the coaching frameworks (GROW, GROW-UP), the somatic awareness – all of it powers your HTC practice. The active toolkit you reach for may narrow over time. That's a choice each practitioner makes based on what's producing results.

Self-Care

The piece most professionals don't see coming – HTC is also your self-care tool

There's a part of FB Professional training most credentials don't include. It changes whether you'll still be doing this work in ten years.

HTC is self-led. The method is structured so you can use it on yourself. By the time you've finished Level 1, you have a tool you can use on yourself for the rest of your working life. Level 2 Advanced deepens your fluency with that tool.

The burnout argument

The mental health crisis means practitioners are carrying enormous loads right now. Clients arrive with heavier material than most training prepared anyone for. Caseloads are full. Supervision is patchy. The residue accumulates.

Practitioners trained in HTC don't carry it home. You hear the client's material, help them clear it, and don't take any of it with you. You're holding space – not absorbing it.

If something does land – a session where you've been triggered, where a client's material has hooked into something of yours – you do a clearance on it the same day. The hook clears. You don't go home with it. You don't bring it to supervision twelve weeks later still carrying the weight.

This isn't theoretical wellness language. It's structural. The method is designed so you can process the cost of the work in real-time, on yourself, with the same tool you're delivering to clients.

Stronger boundaries

When you're not carrying client material, your boundaries get cleaner without you having to manage them effortfully. You stop being porous. You start being able to leave the work at the door because there's nothing of the client in you to leave with.

For therapists, counsellors, and coaches working with heavy material – tokophobia, perinatal anxiety, complex emotional history – this matters more than it sounds.

Truly holding space

Clients sense what the practitioner is carrying – even when the practitioner is holding a perfectly professional stance, even when nothing visible is being communicated. The client feels what the practitioner hasn't processed, and that signal tells them what they can and can't bring into the room.

So clients censor themselves around practitioners who haven't done the work. They protect the practitioner from material the practitioner isn't equipped to hear. The work stays at the surface.

FB Professionals who've done the personal work properly – twenty clearances at Level 1, ongoing self-clearance through Level 2 and beyond – develop a field that clients experience as safe. The client knows they can say anything. And they do.

The compound effect

A practitioner who isn't burning out, who holds space cleanly, who clears her own material in real-time, becomes a different practitioner over the years than one who carries it. The career arc is different. The relationships with clients are different. The longevity is different.

This is part of what FB Professional training delivers that most credentials don't. Not just a method to use with clients – a method that maintains you across a long career.

Credential Architecture

Where Fearless Birthing Professional sits within HTC

FB Professional is positioned as Level 2 parallel within the broader Head Trash Clearance credential architecture. This matters because it gives you portability if your practice expands beyond the perinatal niche later.

The credential map:

The £4,945 question

HT L1 Group £950 + HT L2 £3,995 = £4,945
So why pay £4,995 for FB Professional – only £50 more – and not just go HT directly?

Honest answer.

If your practice is broad-spectrum

And you're not specifically working with women in pregnancy, postnatal, perimenopause, or fertility contexts – go HT. You'll get the HT Practitioner credential directly. You save fifty quid.

If your practice is perinatal-focused

FB Professional is the right route. For £50 more, you get:

  • The same L2 training content
  • The perinatal application layer (RAD framework as your clinical lens, perinatal-specific applications)
  • The Birth Readiness Blueprint Training (£597 standalone value)
  • The 10-Blueprint starter bundle (£880 value)
  • The FB Professional credential – a visible specialism in perinatal mental health

The £50 isn't really where the choice is. It's about which lane your practice sits in.

Conversion to HT Practitioner

If you train as an FB Professional and later want to work beyond the perinatal niche, your credential converts to HT Practitioner directly. Because the L2 Advanced training you've completed delivers the same core L2 content as HT L2, only the perinatal application layer is FB-specific. The conversion is a credential recognition step, not additional training. Fee TBC – we'll figure it out in a fit conversation when you're ready.

The point: you can train through Fearless Birthing knowing the credential isn't a dead-end. The pathway out into the broader HT ecosystem is open.

Approach

A trauma-aware approach for perinatal work

This is depth work with women who often arrive carrying a lot. The method matters – particularly how it holds clients who carry trauma alongside their presenting fears.

The Head Trash Clearance method:

You'll learn how to:

Important scope note: This credential trains you in the Fearless Birthing method applied to perinatal fear and anxiety. It does NOT train you in trauma-specific intervention or PTSD treatment. Clients with trauma histories can absolutely be supported by this method (it's trauma-aware in how it holds the work), but trauma treatment itself remains a separate specialism. Your existing professional training is what equips you for the trauma layer; this credential adds the specialised perinatal-fear and anxiety layer.

For practitioners wanting deeper wound-level work, Wound Healing Training opens as Level 3 specialist training after FB Professional completion.

Where this can take you professionally

Once certified, FB Professionals go on to:

This is a credentialed pathway with built-in growth options. You're not locked in to one place.

What practitioners say

Alexia is the most genuine, interested and helpful coach because she cuts right to the heart of the issue to get the best results.

My husband says it's the best money we have ever spent. He has noticed a visible difference in me, I'm so much calmer and sleeping better as a result of the work.

I used to waken in the middle of the night with panic attacks due to how overwhelmed I felt thinking about having children.

I have not felt like this since starting the programme which is a huge relief to me.

I can't put a price on the peace of mind I have gained and the sense of mastery over something I initially thought was incurable.
— Heather, Psychotherapist
I wish I had discovered this 10 years ago – I would have saved myself a fortune in therapy training.
— Leah, Psychotherapist
HTC is the Carlsberg of therapy – probably the best in the world.
— Caroline, Trauma Therapist
Alexia's competence, ability and generosity of spirit is impressive. I practice multiple energy methods specialising in traumatic birth and had long considered my skillset to be complete. Alexia's reported success in clearing anxiety in a hospital corridor intrigued me. Happily, this led me to train with her.

I could feel changes happening in myself as well as witnessing a softening, an objectivity, neutrality replace concerns and inner conflict, in the space of one short session. Head Trash Clearance has vast potential as a life-changing method.
— Julie-Anne Mullan, Pregnancy & Birth Therapist, Life Energetics
I've just completed the Head Trash course with Alexia Leachman. For me, as a psychotherapist, it gives me a tool in my bag to work with pre and post natal issues, as well as being used in conjunction with other tools to diminish the impact of emotional issues.
— Lesley Carter, Psychotherapist
As someone who has been seeking freedom from my emotional baggage for over 25 years, this is without doubt the jewel in the crown.
— Michele Walsh, Success Coach

Common Questions

Do I need to be a qualified therapist or counsellor?

No – the credential is explicitly designed for coaches as well as therapists and counsellors. Pregnancy coaches, birth coaches, therapeutic coaches all fit. The L2 Advanced content assumes you're working therapeutically (delivering structured multi-session programmes), not at regulated-therapy scope specifically. The defining question is whether your work centres on structured programmes you design and deliver – not which credential body recognises you.

What's the difference between this and the FB Practitioner cert?

The skill, the audience, and the way you'll work with clients. FB Practitioner at £2,497 / 4 months is for birth workers (doulas, midwives, hypnobirthing pros, antenatal educators) delivering reactive fear clearance in the flow of birth-work practice. FB Professional at £4,995 / 8 months is for therapists, counsellors, and coaches delivering programmatic clearance across structured multi-session programmes. These aren't junior/senior versions – they're parallel products for two different ways of working. See /training/fb-pathways/ for the full comparison.

How does this integrate with my existing modality?

HTC integrates with most therapeutic-grade and coaching modalities – CBT, somatic therapy, IFS, parts work, breathwork, trauma-informed approaches, coaching frameworks (GROW, GROW-UP). Practitioners frequently describe it as adding a layer their existing modality couldn't reach – particularly at the subconscious-level fear work, which cognitive and even somatic interventions can leave intact.

Will FB Professional replace what I currently do?

It depends. For results-led practitioners, HTC sometimes becomes the primary method and other tools fall by the wayside. Leah King (HTC's Therapeutic Lead) chose to focus on HTC because the work produces what her clinical training was reaching for, faster. Alexia herself stopped actively using NLP and Thought Field Therapy when HTC matured. For other practitioners, HTC slots in alongside existing work and the toolkit broadens. Either way, your existing training never goes to waste – it powers your FB Professional practice.

What's the difference between this and the Tokophobia & RAD Awareness Training?

The Awareness Training at £495 is recognition-level: how to spot tokophobia and RAD, how it impacts women's mental health and life choices, when to refer. It does NOT certify you in the HTC method or qualify you to deliver fear clearance with clients. For delivery-level training, you need FB Professional (or FB Practitioner for birth workers). Many practitioners take the Awareness Training first as a stepping stone before committing to full certification.

How is the 8 months structured?

Months 1–2: HT L1 Group – personal foundation work (live group calls + your own 20 clearances). Months 3–8: L2 Advanced – bi-weekly 2-hour live training calls focused on practitioner skills, RAD framework, Blueprint training, and case studies.

What's required for Level 1 certification?

Twenty clearances completed during the two months. Live call attendance supports the work. The 20 clearances are evidence of fluency in the method – not just intellectual understanding, but lived familiarity.

What's required for FB Professional certification?

Final assessment includes case studies and demonstrated competence in delivering the method with clients at depth. Plus full payment of the agreed fee – certification is held until both assessment and final payment clear. Specific assessment requirements (case study count, supervision hours, additional requirements) confirmed with each cohort opening.

Is the Birth Readiness Blueprint included?

Yes – fully included. £4,995 includes Blueprint Training (£597 standalone value) plus a 10-Blueprint starter bundle (£880 value) for immediate use with clients. Total Blueprint capability included: £1,477 of value.

What's the Practitioner Network and when can I apply?

The Practitioner Network is the post-certification community for FB credentialed practitioners. Includes directory listing, marketing support, Blueprint reorder pricing, ongoing peer community access. Annual licensing applies from January 2027 (currently planned £500–£1,000 annually, with possible monthly option). Eligible once you've completed certification.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes – payment plans are available. PIF (best price, discount built in), 8-month standard split (no surcharge), or 12-month extended plan (+15% for spreading payments). All payment plans paid in full before certification is issued.

What's the refund policy?

7-day cooling-off period from enrolment date, provided no live training has been attended and no significant module access has occurred. After 7 days, no refunds – the standard drop-out policy applies: future payments cease, no certification issued, training delivered to date isn't refunded.

Can I take this if I'm based outside the UK?

Yes. Live call timing accommodates international practitioners where possible. The 8-month duration means the time commitment is significant for international cohort members; consider time zone fit when joining.

What if I later want to work beyond the perinatal niche?

Your FB Professional credential converts to the HT Practitioner credential via direct credential conversion. Because the L2 Advanced training you've completed delivers the same core L2 content as HT L2, only the perinatal application layer is FB-specific. The conversion is a credential recognition step, not additional training. Fee structure TBC – discussed in a fit conversation when you're ready to convert.

When does the next cohort start?

Summer 2026 through March 2027. HT L1 Group element starts late June / early July 2026. L2 Advanced element starts September 2026, runs to March 2027. Current pricing held for this cohort – prices increase from the following cohort.
